Environmental Impact Assessment
Significant developments in both the built and natural environments will normally require the assessment of and, if appropriate, the management of environmental impacts. Assessment may then be followed by the design of an Environmental Management System to mitigate any impacts or effects and introduce positive measures to enhance biodiversity and landscape.

'Developments' may also include projects intended to benefit the environment such as the creation of lakes or parks or major forestry operations but whose wider ramifications may need to be assessed and managed.

MM Environmental can carry out the range of EIA services including: surveyand scientific analysis, liaison with stakeholders, design of Environmental Management Systems, implementation of mitigation projects, maintaining a 'watching brief' during works, monitoring and aftercare following completion of works.
